Grading the Dolphins

QB Malik Willis is a work in progress. He finished 14 of 23 for 197 yards and a TD. It included the garbage time 77 yard TD and it looked like he was holding the ball for too long and he was inaccurate at times. He does not have a great supporting cast but he still needs to play better and be more accurate. Bottom line they scored 13 and the TD came when it was way over. D+

RB Achane did gett the ball a lot. He rushed for 74 yards on 20 carries. C

WR Ryan Miller scored on the 77 yarder at garbage time and Malik Washington "led" the way with 4 receptions for only 43 yards... D

OL Their running game was OK and the pass blocking was not so good at times but he does hold the ball to just a little too much. C

LB The defense could not stop anyone. They gave up a TD in the Niners first FIVE drives. D+

DL Pressure ? What pressure ? FIVE straight TDs for the Niners. D-

Secondary The secondary missed assignments and the Niners were all over Miami. D

Special teams The Dolphins have a kicking problem and the decisions in the kick return game do not look ideal. As for the punting and the horrible goofy dropped ball by the punter... F

Coaching
The defnse did not play well, not at all. The offense looked better but could not finish. D
