Grading the Dolphins

QB Malik Willis started his Dolphins career with an average game. He did show off his great arm and athletic ability but he also held the ball for too long. He finished with 220 yards on 15 of 27 and an INT with a rushing TD. C-

RB Achane could not get going 11 for only 36 yards. D+

WR The 3 rookies played and Caelb Douglass chined with 5 receptions for 94 yards. B

OL They gave up 5 sacks and could not open the lanes in the runnin game. C

LB The defense could not stop the run and there was no pressure. Not very good. D+

DL The defense did not play very good, no pressure no stopping the run. D-

Secondary The secondary plyed better than the other units and came up with 2 INTs with no pass rush, it was not the reason why they lost. C+

Special teams Bad game for the coverage unit and a very good return by Wright with a 79 yarder. Patterson missed a 41 yarder, ouch... D+

The defnse did not play well, they could not stop the run or have any pressure on Cousins, ouch... D+
