Grading the Dolphins

QB Quin Ewers first start went as expected with ups and downs. He did not look out of place or scared. He had 2 INTs, one was a bad throw and the other was just bad luck. He did have some nice throws and showed better mobility than Tua. All and all a decent first game for a 7th round rookie. 20 of 30 for 260 yards with the 2 picks. C

RB Achane had 81 yards on 15 carries including a 48 yard TD. The team had 129 yards on 28 carries. C-

WR Waddle caught 5 for 72 yards, Theo Wease played for the first time, had 2 catches but was also involved in the INT. C-

OL They gave Ewers enough time to throw and opened things up for the running game especially in the first half. C

LB The defense fell apart in the 3rd quarter. D-

Special teams The Dolphins had a decent season on special team. That game wasn't any different C+

The defnse collapsed and looked awful, losing that way at home to a very bad Bengals team is just not good. no matter the QB. F
