QB Tua continued his bad streach. It was better than last week but it was not very good. He had one awful pass from Miami's 2 that should have resulted in a pick 6 and another that was basically a lateral that the refs called incomplete. And it's not like he threw a ton, he was 13 of 21 for 127 yards and a TD. D+
RB Achane had 92 yards on only 7 carries before the injury. Wright added 107 on 24 carries. Achane, Wright and Gordon ran for scores. 239 total rushing yards including 2 kneeldowns. A
WR Well Tua completed 12 balls. Waller "led" the team with 47 yards on 2 recptions. C-
OL They are playing much much better. The run blocking was great most of the day. Brewer, Jonah Paul they all played well. They deserve a ton of credit for the running game resurgence. A-
LB The Jets offense on their 3rd QB is awful but that doesn't take away from their play Brooks and Dodson are playing well (Dodson got a pick). A
DL The young unit is playing much better. Sieler had 2,5 sacks and the yiung guys played well. A
Secondary Douglas and Bonner had picks and they played well in all aspects of the game. The Jets could not score even if you gave them 6 quarters. A
Special teams Giving up a 78 yard punt return TD is unexcusable. A kickoff out of bounds is also pretty bad. Every punt was and adventure. They also had a 20 yard punt. F
Coaching
They got by with a very strong running game and excellent defense. It's true these are the Jets but again they dominated. The pass offense is a problem that McDaniel can not seem to fix. Two horrible throws by Tua - one should have been a pick 6 inside Miami's 5 and the other should have been a lateral returned for a score from the 6. That will not be enough on Monday night at Pittsburgh. B
