QB Tua had an average game. At times he looked in command but he did throw two bad INTs, especially rh first one. He also fumbled the exchange with first time RB Evans. He finished the game 21 of 30 for 243 yards and 1 TD to go along the 2 INTs and a rating of only 77.5 - not a good score although other QBs facing the Jets were worse. Tyreek did drop a sure TD on a perfect Tua pass. C+
RB Mostert had 94 yards on 20 carries and 2 TDs. His good year continued but can he carry 20 times every game, the Dolphins really need Achane back and give Jeff Wilson more carries to take the load off Mostert for the strech run. B
WR Tyreek had an "off" day with "only" 102 yards on his 9 catches. He did have one 35 yarder but dropped a perfectly placed Tua pass in the endzone. He did catch his NFL leading 10th TD. He is also still on pace for the record. He has 1324 yards after playing only 11 games, that's just unheard of type numbers. Waddle had a great game catching 8 for 114 yards, he looks much better than the begining of the year. B+
OL The Dolphins O-line played well considering they were playing 2 backup guards the entire game and also had T-Stead injured and Jackson ejected. Basiaclly they played 4 backups at the end and still did well. Very nice. . A
LB The Dolphins held the Jets to almost nothing until prevent defense at the end. Their first half was brillinat. Baker had an INT and Philips played very well until he got injured. A-
DL The Dolphins D-line did a great job both containing the Jets running game and pressuring the Jets QB, They had 7 sacks including 2 for WIlkins, 1.5 for Ogbah, one for Sieler, Davis had half a sack, heck even Hand had a sack. Great game. A
Secondary WOW, Holland ! his 99 INT return off a Hail Mary was out of this world. The secondary played well against a bad Jets offense. A
Special teams The Dolphins special teams played better. Sanders connected ona long FG. A decent game. B
Coaching
McDaniel is an agreesive coach and play caller but some of his calls are just weird. They are not very good in short yardage and he is going for it on 4th and 2 from the 4 where there is no depth and calling a fade pass to a not very tall Hill (perfect ball was dropped).. I understand he knew his defense could hold the Jets but still. A win is a win and a division win is very important. Those Jets have beaten the Bills and are the only team to beat the Eagles... Now it's on to Washington for the final December run. B-
