QB Moore did not have a very good game even before his injury. He turned the ball 2 times with a fumble and an INT. He finished the game after 3 qaurters with 11 of 19 for 95 yards a TD and an INT. JP Losman is not an NFL QB, he's just not. F
RB Reggie Bush is a good runner. He is having a good year even with this awful O-line that missed Long and Carey. He finished with 103 yards on 14 carries. B+
WR Marshall had 4 catches for only 27 yardss and a TD. Fasano had 56 mainly when it was all but over. Bess lost a fumble and Hartline had only 1 catch. Just a bad day all around. D-
OL They started well but once Long went out they just could not keep the pocket from collpasing and it did not help to have JP Losman out there. Carey was also injured so the Dolphins played without both of them and the pass blocking became awful. The Eagles had 8 sacks ! 3 each for Cole and Babin, ouch. F
LB Karlos Dansby and Kevin Burnet are playing well and the LBs are not the reason this team lost. This one is all on the offense. Taylor had 2 sacks and Dansby was his usual reliable self. Burnet was very very quiet. C+
DL Thet managed to stop the run pretty efectively and they put pressure on Vick early but once Long and Moore were lost it had an effect on the defense as well and the Eagles managed to make plays. It was however a great game by Philip Merling. Just a decent game. C+
Secondary Sean Smith had an INT but they also gave up a long TD and did not play well in the second half of the game. However, they are not the reason the team lost the game. Vick was 15 of 30 for 208 yards with a TD and an INT. Those are OK numbers for the secondary. C+
Special teams One huge play by Wilson, blocking the first punt and setting up the Dolphins lone TD. They ahd a solid game even though Carpenter missed a 55 yarder, it's still 55 yards. B
Coaching The Dolphins just collapsed with the injuries. Only when Long comes out do you realize how valuable he is. When Moore was injured it was all over. You really can't blame the coaches when one of the best 3 players on offense is hurt (Marshall and Bush can't protect the QB for Long) and you loose the QB (and you are down to the 3rd stringer) what can you really, realisticly expect ? D+
