QB Moore was not very good in the first half but a brilliant 11 of 12 for 90 yards on the 94 yard, 21 play drive that ended in a 1 yard TD throw to FB/HB Charles Clay. His game stats were not very good as he finished 22 of 32 for 135 yards, 1 TD and 2 INT in the game. He did lead his team to ta 4th quarter victory. C+
RB Bush did not play because of an injury, so Daniel Thomas started with Steve Slaton as his backup. Thomas was 12 for 28 and Slaton 11 for 55 yards. Clay scored with a 1 yard reception. C-
WR Marshall and Bess combined for 11 catches for 95 yards. Marshall finished his probowl year with 81 recpetions for 1214 yards and 6 TDs, not bad at all. The yardage figure is the most by a Dolphin since Irvin Fryar had 1270 way back in 1994 when hall of fame QB Dan Marino went to the probowl... B
OL Long was injured and replaced by John Jerry. They played OK. The run blocking was average but Moore was sacked only once. B-
LB Dansby was injured early and replaced by Marvin Mitchell who had an INT that sealed the Dolphin victory. Wake and Burnett played OK and Jason Taylor in his last ever game had a nice retirement game. They should get a B, but on Jason Taylor's last game... A+
DL Starks had 2 INTs, Starks a DT/DE ! They did not get to Sanchez much and the Jets did run at will at times but all together they did a nice job. B
Secondary The Jets WRs were not in this game. Part of that was Davis and Smith. B+
Special teams Carpenter had a huge 58 yard FG that looked to be good from 65. He was 4 of 4 on a perfect day for him. Fields had an up and down game and the coverage and return teams were OK, nothing more than that. B+
Coaching Bowles ended his brief tenure as interim head coach with a 2-1 record. The Dolphins in a meaningless game came to play and it showed. A-
