QB Matt Moore started very well and had some great runs at the begining. He finished 13 of 22 for 138 yards and an INT. He also ran for a TD and 31 yards on 5 rushes. He could not find time to throw at the end and therefore could not get Maimi in position to kick a FG for the tie at the end. The Dolphin again failed to score more than 17 points. They haven't scored more than 17 since game 1. C
RB Daniel Thomas didn't play but Bush had his best day as a Dolphin and his second career 100 yard rushing gain getting 103 on 15 rushes. Slaton scored on a 1 yard run. B-
WR Marshall had 4 catches for 55 yards. He was also robbed from a long completion by the officials (ending a Miami drive). Bess added another 3 catches. Hartline and Fasano di not catch a pass. D+
OL The run pass blocking at the end of the game was awful and lost Miami the game. The run blocking was great all day as Bush had holes to run all day. His 103 yards were a result of his speed and quickness but also due to larger holes. The Giants had 5 sacks in the worst times. C-
LB Manning had 349 yards and some of them were over the middle against the KBs. Kevin Burnett was all over the field and he is playing much better than at the begining of the year. Zero sacks for the OLBs. C+
DL Starks had a decent game but all others were invisible, especially in the pass rush department. The run stopping was solid. C
Secondary Giving up 349 yarrds to Eli Manning is not the end of the world, especailly without Vontae Davis. Jimmy Smith started for the first time, he gave up a few completions but also had some nice plays. That was good experience for the 7th round rooke. C-
Special teams A decent game. Team MVP Brandon Fields was his usual self and Slaton had a nice run back on a kickoff. No special incidents today. C
Coaching The Dolphins played better than expected but they did lose after leading by 11. They can not seem to be able to score more than 17 points even though this time they got to 14 by the end of the first quarter. The 4th quarter offensively was just awful. The defense played well, giving up 20 points on the road to the Giants is not bad but you can not win when you score 17 points and you only have 2 players on offense, this time Bush joined Marshall as the only viable offensice threat. C
