QB Matt Moore played his best game as a Dolphin going 17 of 23 for 244 yards with 3 TDs and no INTs. He made all kinds of big plays throwing to Marshall and Fasano. His 3 TDs tied his career high and he had only one bad pass (to Bess). An almost perfect game. A-
RB Reggie Bush had a great day again, his second good performance in a row. He finished with 92 yards on 13 rushes and 50 yrads on 3 catches. He had long gains and big plays (a 28 yard TD on an end around) and at times looked unblockable in space. Charles Clay also had a breakout game with 3 great catches for 50 yards. He is getting better and proving to be a fine 6th rounder. Daniel Thomas could not get going all day on his 7 rushes (only 12 yards). A-
WR Marshall had 8 catches for 106 yards and a TD. He looked very good. Hartline did not catch a pass all day and Bess wasn't very good either (1 catch for ZERO yards). Fasano saved the day with 2 TDs, one for 35 yards. He only had those 2 receptions. Both Fasano and Marshall deserve an A but getting ZERO yards from all WRs not named Marshall is disturbing. B
OL The run pass blocking was solid (CArey had a huge block to free up Bush) and the pass blocking was excellent. Long totaly man handled OLB Tamba Hali. Just a great job all around. A
LB Kevin Burnett is playing much much better and so is Dansby. Gor all those that said Burnett wasn't better than Crowder - He had 2 sacks (I don't know why he was credited for 1.5 sacks ony) which is probably more than Crowder had in a year. Wake was quite but solid. The inside guys are playing very well for the third straight week. A-
DL A solid game for the D-line. They managed to stop the Chiefs running game and also were solid in the pass rush departemnt. McDaniel and Odrick had sacks. A-
Secondary Cassel thre for 253 yards but went only 20 of 39 and some of the yards were facing a prevent defense at the end. They got beat a few times and Wilson was called for two pass interference penalties but still the Chiefs have 3 good WRs and they finished with 3 points, whicheve way you look at it it's impressive. The Dolphins did not register an INT agains (that's more than 5 games now...) B+
Special teams A decent game. Fields did the best he could with the field position he was given and Carpenter made his only attempt. They amanged to keep the Chiefs return game in check and that's was good. A solid day. B
Coaching The Dolphins played better than they have all year (they had a good game defensivly last week as well). The defense played great getting 5 sacks (and they pressured Cassel even more than that) but the difference from last week (or any other week since week 2) was the offense. The offense was much improved, especially Moore, Marshall and Bush. Bush was featured in space a few times and he showed his skills and Marshall was back to being "the beast". They had a very good game and made good calls. Sparano is just such a good guy and everybody was happy for him that he got his first win. A
