QB Pennington played well most of the game directing the offense to 38 points and a long drive in the 4th quarter to win it when the team really needed it. He finished his efficient self going 26 of 34 for 235 yards 3 TDs and 1 INT. B+
RB Ricky and Ronnie had a better game then the stats show. They were caught for negative yards too many times but also when it counted in the 4th quarter the running game led by Ricky took the game over. The Ricky fumble inside 2 minutes was uncalled for as the Dolphins could have just kneeled down, I just did not understand the coach's call. Ricky rushed 12 times for 34 yards and a TD but added 50 yards receivinf on 6 catches. Ronnie had 8 carries for 32 yards. Polite added 29 on 5 carries, he sure knows how to pick up 3rd and ones. Cobbs added 44 yards on a wildcat reverst and Ginn scored on a 31 yard reverse as well. B
WR OK, I'm sold on Davone Bess, how can this guy go undrafted, UNDRAFTED ? He had 6 receptiond for 57 yards and some crucial first down catches. Ginnn added 4 catches for 44 yards besides his reverse. Martin had 1 TD and Fasano had 2 TDs, a good game by the WRs and TEs all around. B+
OL The Dolphins could not run in the first half and the pressure on Chad was more than it should have been considering the Chiefs had 9 sacks all year (that's nine for the entire team - compared to Porter's 17.5 all by himself...) but they played much better in the second half especially on that big 4th quarter game wininng drive that netted the winning TD by Fasano. B-
LB Thr Thigpen led Chiefs looked like the 2007 Pats in the first half. The D was horrible beyond the wildest imagination - ugly game for the D. They did play better in the second half. I hope Crowder is back for next week. D-
DL The D-Line is having problems rushing the passer. The run blocking wasn't special either, they were a major part of that awful display in the first half. D-
Secondary Thigpen - people Tyler Thigpen.... He threw for 320 yards and he ran for another 57 for a total of 377 yards. Thygpen ?!?! WRs named Darling and Bradley caught deep balls at wil and some rookie named Charles ran a simple screen for 75 yards, thank god the Jets are next week. D-
Special teams Better, better. The return team is playing better and so is the coverage team. The team really can not a fford a breakup on special teams next week at the Meadowlands. B
Coaching What was that call going for a fade route to TE Joey Haynos on 4th and one instead of a simple pound the ball with Polite ? A fade to Haynos ? with that kind of wind ? that's not high percentage. I also didn't get the call to run it inside two m inutes instead of a kneel down. The Chiefs did nt have any timeoute remaining. The team did not look prepared in the first haf. They did play much much better in the second half. They are a much better team than KC is. B-
