QB Henne was awful in the second half throwing 3 INTs. He actually started OK foing 9 of 12 and a TD but ended 17 of 31 for only 175 yards a TD and 3 (three) INTs. Just a bad game and a bad timing for it. D-
RB The Dolphins ran Ricky over and over again and he showed,again, he is, by far, the best Dolphin player even at 32. Which also says a lot about the Dolphins. He is the team's only real supoerstar and at 32 playing RB that's a team problem. He had 27 carries for 115 yards and a TD but he also threw an INT in the endzone. Hilliard a few nice runs going 5 for 22 yards but he's no Ricky. B
WR Ginn, Bess dropped passes, Camarillo didn't even get his name on the stat sheet, meaning a Dolphins starter caught 0 passes. Fasano had 5 for 74 yards, Ginn caught 2 dropped one... D-
OL They had a nive first half but in the second half Henne was pressured and some of his bad throws were because he got hit on the end of his throws. They blocked well for Ricky (but then again who doesn't ?). They didn't play that well but I don;t think that's the reason they lost. C-
LB Porter had a good game with 2.5 sacks and Taylor had a few nice plays but they are a part of a team that collapsed, as usual in the second half. The Dolphins gave up 24 second half points. We are not talking about the Saints or Pats here, those were the Ryan Fitzpatrick led 4-7 Buffalo Bills! D+
DL The pass rush was decent. The running game was so so. They didn't have any impacy plays - forced fumbles or huge sacks in the most critical of times, again, giving up 31 points to thre Bills ?!?! C
Secondary They played a solid first half and collapsed at the end when Vontae Davis gave TO the 51 yard TD. TO had 96 yards and a TD. Fitzpatrick had 246 yards, Ah, Ryan Fitzpatrick ?!?! who the hell is he ??? D-
Special teams Ginn had very bad returns and is ciontinuing to show his inconsistency hardly getting to the 20 yard line. He is more of a hit or miss type returner which is fine. We had over the years plenty of solid but unspectacular returners that have never seen the endzone. Fields averaged only 40 yards and the FG blocking team could not get enough push to disrupt a Bills 56 yard FG attempt. C
Coaching Awful game. They could have had it in the first half. They called a pass from inside the 5 on 2nd down. Ricky is not as good a thrower as Ronnie is and he threw a pick. I don't think it was a good idea. Do you really beleive the Bills could have stopped Ricky 3 times from the 5 ?? The let down in the second half was dissapointing. I think they should have protected Henne more a s he semms to find people when he has time. They can't help it that they don't have any wideouts. D-
