The dolphins lost to a good opponet on Sunday. That as itself is not the end of the world but the way they lost was humiliating. 21-0 and the score lies. I anyone can get negative points the Dolphins should have. The Dolphins are facing the biggest game of the season on Saturday. A win will give the Patriots a tie breaker advantage over Miami and they yhen could clinch the division by winning the last game of the season against the Panthers. Carolina won only one game and that was on opening day... Not only that a loss coupled with a Jets win will drop
Miami to third place in the division and at best a 5th seed in the playoffs meaning a road wild card game... We all know where that leads to. So this was a humiliating loss but the big game is on Saturday and a win will put Miami on the driver's seat as far as the division goes and will only need one Oakland loss in order to get a bye (assuming Miami wins)
Now the game grades.
QB Fiedler threw 3 INTs and lost a fumble. He also missed some long throws. He played like most of the team which is very very bad D-
RB What running game ? Smith had about 20 yards... F
WR They didn't have a field day either. D-
OL How bad did they play. Fiedler entered the game being sacked 12 times on the year and he was sacked 6 times and hurried many more. The running game is now an official joke. Ir resembles the Karim Abdul Jabar days and to any dofan this is saying a lot. F
DL See the LBs as far as run defense. F
LB Greenwood had 1 tackle, o-n-e. So did right tackle Todd Wade... The Niners were running all over the place. They had a 17 play 98 yard dive chewing up more than 11 minutes off the clock. They ran 15 of those 17 plays. That's how bad the run defense was. Fifteen ! F
Secondary They weren't tested that much because the niners didn't have to pass. They ran so well, why bother pass the ball. C-
Special Teams Matt Turk had a 16 yard punt. It got worse by the minute. Chambers fumbled but Miami recovered. D
