QB Frerrote was solid. He finished 14 of 22 for 229 yards and 2 TDs with no INTs. He made all the throws he needed in order to give the team the chance to win. He had a very nice throw to Booker for 56 yards and he threw both TDs to Chambers. B
RB Ricky and Ronnie couldn't run. The San Diego defense played well. Both of them fumbled but Ronnie's was criticsl fumbling on the one preventing the Dolphins to extent the lead into a 2 possesion lead that would have locked the game. They combined for 58 yards on 22 carries. C-
WR Chambers is on a huge roll. He finished with 8 catches for 121 yards and two TDs. Booker also added 78 yards on 3 catches. B+
OL They played OK. Frerotte usualy had time to throw. The Dolphins couldn't run but when the game was on the line at the end they opened enough holes for Ricky to run out the clock. B-
LB Gates had 13 catches for more than 100 yards, but he is, by far, the best TE in the league. They limited Tomlinson to 75 yards on 21 carries. A good game. B-
DL Bowens and Holliday had sacks. A lot of the credit for stopping Tomlinson is due to the D-line. Carter recovered the crucial fumble at the end. A solid afternoon. B
Secondary Yeremiah Bell's huge play won it at the end. They played very well. Brees had nowwhere to throw on many occasions. Madison was also solid against the run. An all around good game. You can not expect them to shut down Gates, he's simply too good. B
Special teams A great game for the special teams, coverage teams, return team and Mare's kicking. Welker had a 43 yard return. B+
Coaching Another W-o-w game,The Dolphins were underdogs by 14 for a reason. San Diego is a better team playing for a spot in the playoffs at home. Not to mention, they are the better team. The Dolphins played very, almost mistake free game. If not for the 2 fumbles the Dolphins would have won by a bigger margin. They contained Tomlinson and Gates had a big game but he can make even more damage than 1 TD. A good game for the Dolphins, perhaps their biggest win against a better team on the road. A-
