QB Frerotte played much better and if not for a few drops his stats would have been even better. He did throw one bad INT in the Raiders' end-zone. He finished 18 of 31 for 261 yards with 2 TDs and 1 INT. B+
RB Ricky and Ronnie played very well. Ronnie had 58 yards on 15 carries and a 1 yard TD. Ricky finished with 82 yards on 16 carries and a 34 yard TD. Their total was 140 yards on 31 carries. Ricky played better this week. Ronnie did fumble twice. B+
WR They did drop a few balls and they can play better. Chambers had a good game catching 6 balls for 101 yards. McMichael had his 5th TD of the season (4 catches for 59 yards), most in his career. Gilmore and Welker added a reception each. Booker was injured early. R&R had two receptions each. B
OL The Raiders had 3 sacks but they played well, giving Frerotte enough time. This unit is playing much better as the season goes on. They also blocked well for the running game at the end. It helps that R&R are behind them. B
LB The LBs, despite missing both Seau and Zach played well. Pope started for the first time this season and finished with 7 tackles. Spragan also did a good job. B+
DL 7 sacks, all by the D-line. They had great pass rush by the front 4. Taylor had 3 sacks and a safety. Holliday and Bowens added another 4 sacks. Traylor had a good game and Carter is very consistent. A great all around effort. A
Secondary Madison finally had an INT but it was called back due to a penalty, so was one of Schulter's two...They stopped a very good QB and a very good set of WRs. Randy Moss had 28 yards on 3 receptions. B+
Special teams They had their ups and downs. Donnie Jones deserves an A all by himself. The team downed a punt at the 1 and another one at the 4. He averaged more than 50 yards on 4 punts. The return game was solid as well but the coverage team did give up one long return of 55 yards and Mare missed a FG insdie the 40. Missing from inside the 40 is not something the Dolphins can afford to do. C+
Coaching The team played well after a horrible game against Cleveland. The team performed on all sides of the game. Th Defense was huge, the front 7 played perhaps their best game since week 1. The offense also played much better, it's obvious R&R are great runners but I wish at the end they'll give it to Ricky more because he never fumbles in critical situations as Ronnie does. When their passing game plays just a beat better they are a different team. It's not easy winning in a long west coast trip. B+
