QB Jay was 14 of 26 for 167 yards without any TDs or INTs. Jay didn't have a good game and some of his passes should have been intercepted. Fiedler rushed 4 times for 12 yards. He did have a great drive at the end of the 4th quarter that resulted in the last TD. Jay had a fumble that led to the Giants lone TD. D
RB Ricky couldn't run anywhere. He finished with 22 carries for only 39 yards and most of them were from 2 or 3 carries in the 4th quarter. But, when it mattered the most, punching it in on 3rd and goal from the 1 Ricky delivered and sealed the Dolphins victory. Konrad had a fine game. D+
WR The passing game wasn't very good. Chambers had 3 catches for only 19 yards. Thompson had only 2 receptions. McMivhael had 2 big catches for 57 yards. The WRs should get a D but the reverse by James McKnight was huge. McKnight scored on a 68 yard run on a revrse in a game points were hard to find for Miami. C
OL Ricky couldn't even get back to the line. There was no room to run. I think this could be a problem in the future. D-
LB A very good game in general for the entire defense. The defense bent but it didn't break. Seau was very active. B+
DL Barber had some room to run but he was kept in check most of the game and when it mattered they stopped him cold. B+
Secondary What a game for the secondary. They had 4 turnovers, Surtain had 2 INTs, Marion had 1 and T-Buck had a forced fumble and he also recovered it. Collins finished with 276 yards but most of them were on prevent defense at the end of the halves. They refused to break and they played against a very good offensive team with 2 great WRs and a great TE catching balls from one of the best QBs in the NFL, this was not an Arizona team. A
Special teams The punting was problematic as always. Turk is back punting for Miami. Rogers had a great 33 yard punt return. Mare is back with a crucial 48 yard FG finishing 3 of 3 in FGs attempts. C
Coaching They managed to win on the road against a very good team when they didn't play very well. That was excellent. The play calling was very good and the defense played very well. A
