QB Lemon was average. He was 24 of 37 for 236 yards and an INT. The stats don't tell the story as this game was over by the second quarter. C-
RB Ronnie Brown is not in the same league as the other Dolphins. He is playing like a top 3 RB in the league. Too bvad he is the only player on the 53 man roster worth something. He is the Miami offense. Too bad he can't play defense. He was injured but walked off the field after gaining 76 yards on 17 rushes and 33 yrads on 5 recpetions. Chatman also played well in garbage time runnig for 73 yards and a TD on 7 runs. A-
WR Ginn started off OK catching 3 balls. Hagan added 4 receptions at the end. We'll just have to see their development as the season goes on. Booker also caught 3 balls. The two TEs added 7 receptions. C+
OL The pass blocking was average but the run blocking was solid. The o-line is playing well, would you beleive it ? the so called weakest link is one of the better units on the team, relatively speaking. Unfortunatelly, with Miami's defense and special teams tyhat's not saying much. C+
LB The Miami Defense gave up 35 points in the first half and 42 (out of the 49 given up by Miami) in the game. Is that enough ? F
DL The D-line is just a sorry unit. They can not pressure anyone and can't stop the run. This could be the worst unit in the NFL and the worst Miami has ever had, they are that bad. Giving Tom Brady all day to throw - now that's a bad idea. F
Secondary Cameron Worrel covering Randy Moss deep. I am actually surprised the Phins only gave up 49 yards and SIX passing TDs. The Dolphins don't have a secondary. They should draft at least 3 new guys. Bell is probablt the only decent player over there but he is injured. F
Special teams The Dolphins gave up yet another kickoff return for a TD and several more big returns. Here's yet another way not to play the Patriots. F
Coaching The Dolphins are 0-7. They gave up 42 points in the first half and had a run of giving up 83 points in 6 quarters to the Browns and Pats. They lost 49-28. Need I say more. By the way, this was the New England home game, Care to bet on the road one ? F!
