QB - A decent game for fiedler. He had some nice throws (the 52 yard screen for Ricky). Fiedler passed for two TDs and he also ran for one. He had one bad pass which was intercepted. B+
RB - A RB at last, Ricky is as good as advertised. Ricky had 132 yards on 24 carries for a 5.5 average. He also caught 2 passes for 62 yards and a TD. For all the talk about a lack of big play ability he had a 52 yard reception and last week he had a 37 yard run. Even more important was his constant 10-12 yard runs. Would you believe it ? A great runner in Miami ? It took 3 decades but Ricky is here. Konrad caught a 9 yard TD as well. A
WR - Not a lot of work for the WRs. McKnight was inactive and he continues to slide in the depth chart. He is now the 3th WR. Gadsden and Chambers were OK. B-
OL - Ricky had 132 yards, enough said. Fiedler usually had time to throw. The big challenge awaits next week. B+
DL - It's hard getting to Manning because of his quick release. They did an excellent job on the goal line stand but other than that RB James ran wildly gaining lots of yards. The Dolphind should get better vs the run. C+
LB - Generally a good game for the LBs. Tommy Hendricks made the tackle on 4th and goal in the goal line stand. Rogers had a nice INT and return. But again the run defense. C+
DB - We knew Harrison would do well, he is probably the best WR in the NFL. If Harrison is having a field day againt Fletcher why did it take Miami so long to send Madison on him ? Another huge play for Marion on the last play of the game. He just keeps making big plays. B+
Special teams - There really is no excuse for missing a 28 yard FG, I mean it's 9 yards further than a PAT. The return on the weird onside kick was below average. The return game didn't confuse anybody to think Brian Mitchell or Eric Metcalf were returning kicks for the Dolphins. The bright spot is Royals, He is playing very well. It was a good thing signing him instead of Turk, which costed to much. It's enough having against the cap a 2-million-dollar-a-year-28-yard-missing-FG-kicker D+
Coaching - The gamble on Ricky looks to be a very good deal. The team is 2-0 having scored 10 TDs already. The big one is next week, at home against the Jets. Week 5 is the home game vs the Pats, both are very important games. B+
