QB Fiedler played pretty well. He did have the one now-routine INT. He had his best day as a Dolphin yardage-wise. He was 2- of 33 for 287 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. He had a few big plays, a 61 yarder to Gadsden, a 40 yarder to McKnight and a 28 yarder to Chambers. B+

RB How bad can it get ? Smith had 18 carries for 37 yards (2.1 average). Smith is just not the same as last year. Minor had 4 carries for 13 yards... F

WR Great day for the WR. Chambers had 4 catches for 54 yards, McKnight had 4 catches for 67 yards and Gadsden had 5 catches for 102 yards. A-

OL The running game is a problem. They gave up only one sack and that's OK. The running game is very troubling and it's not just the RB. C-

DL Good game they had 4 sacks against the 3 Panther QBs. The run stopping could have been better, especially against the Panthers. B+

LB The run stopping could have been better. the coverage was OK. It was a good game for the defense and the 6 points allowed says something although they did give up big plays. B

Secondary They gave up way too many big plays. Surtain was great, his INT for a TD was a very nice run. Consistency is a problem. C+

Special teams Another bad play by Ogden with 2 good runs and one big run by Chambers (any kick return over 40 is very good). Mare was perfect as usual, kicking a 45 yarder into the wind. Mare was 3 for 3 in FGs and hasn't missed a FG this season. B+

Coaching The win was important but Miami is having a serious problem running the ball. It was OK in the 80s and 90s with Marino back there but now it's just scary. B+
